JMP201 - Java Jumpstart for the IBM Lotus Domino Developer

QuickImage Category Reviews

This session, presented by Tom Duff & Julian Robichaux, is packed. I'm sitting in the front row right now, and I'm willing to guess that this room is at least 80% capacity.

Tom has revised his portions of the session for this year, and Julian stepped up to the plate and added his own "stuff" to the session.

Tom's presentation skills and presence are, as usual, very, very good. This was one of my favorite sessions last year, and it is even better this year.

This is Julian's first time speaking at Lotusphere. Julian is recognized as an expert developer just about everybody in this field. His code and examples are extremely good. Now, that being said, I need to cover his presentation / speaking skills.

I don't understand why Julian isn't a professional speaker. He is a great developer. He is an even better speaker. He is cool, comfortable, well spoken, and basically has the audience "eating out of his hand". The content of his presentation is exactly the right level of technical expertise. Seriously, Julian could give up development and become a professional speaker and be extremely successful.

Tom & Julian work very well with one another. If they do this again next year, I'll be here. If you are here and you missed this session, I'm sorry.

Gravatar Image1 - Wow, Devin... I don't know what to say. THANKS! It was a blast giving the presentation (and shooting Tom with a Super Soaker ), and it felt good. I'm so glad it sounded/looked good too...

Even cooler is that they taped our session, and are supposed to be making it available on DVD:
