Fatty, Fatty, Boom Ba Latty!

263 lbs.

I weighed myself, and the scale said 263 lbs.

Let me say that again, with feeling: TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE POUNDS.
Here, piggy, piggy, piggy...

263 lbs. Man, that's fat. It's not "kind of overweight" fat. Considering I'm just barely 5'10", 263 lbs is friggin' huge

I haven't been to the dojo in over a year, and it really shows. Considering that I"m now 40, and come from a "cancer cluster" family, I think it is time to do something about it.

The problem is, my schedule right now precludes me going back to the dojo, so I'm going to have to (for now) drop the weight without that. I'm going to do it the old fashioned way: Less food and more exercise. I think I'll start with running & calisthenics in the mornings before I take my son to school. There is a weight room at work, so I figure I can hit that 2 - 3 times a week during lunch (instead of Country Buffet).

My schedule should clear up after the first of the year, at which time I can head back to the gym.

While I hadn't planned on using my blog as my own personal weight loss log, it seems like a perfect place to do so. If you don't want to read about my "getting in shape" efforts, then skip these entries. I know I wouldn't want to read them.
